ECC Annual PerspECCtives Conference Event Policies 2025Cancellation and Refund Policy
You are able cancel your registration for a refund up to 30 days before the event begins, on or before August 4, 2025. A 20% cancellation fee will be applied to all cancellations. Any cancellations that are made after 30 days prior to the beginning of the event, August 4, 2025, will not be issued refunds. Substitution Policy There is no fee for substituting registrations and you may transfer a registration to another individual at any time up to 5 days before the event begins, on or before August 29, 2025. To make a substitution, email [email protected] with the contact information of the attendee who is currently registered, along with the contact and additional registration information for the person who will be attending in their place. The substitute will receive an email confirmation. Code of Conduct This policy provides general guidelines and does not address every possible type of covered conduct. ECC Association reserves the right to apply corrective action to instances other than the specific examples noted below: Harassment: Participating in an event brings with it the responsibility to be mindful of different cultures and customs. ECC Association does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, hateful conduct, or abusive treatment in any manner, including verbal harassment, intimidation or threats, and sexually explicit, suggestive, or provocative behavior. Violence and Threats: Acts and threats of violence are strictly prohibited. Spam, Scams, and Other Malicious Conduct: Any content or activity that disrupts, interrupts, harms, or otherwise violates the integrity of ECC PerspECCtives or another user’s or entity’s experience or devices is prohibited. Such activity includes posting large amounts of repetitive, unwanted messages or user reports; distributing unauthorized advertisements; phishing; defrauding others; spreading malware or viruses; misinformation tampering. ECC Association may take any action they deem appropriate, including removal without refund from the ECC PerspECCtives at which the breach of code of conduct occurred. Egregious violations will result in more severe sanctions. ECC Association also reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Enforcement To protect the integrity of ECC PerspECCtives and our community, ECC Association reserves the right to take action in response to any conduct or content that ECC Association determines in its sole discretion to be inappropriate, harmful, or otherwise inconsistent with our policies. Such actions may include: removal of content; temporary or permanent removal of an individual or entity from any ECC PerspECCtives venues, services, and events; cancellation without penalty of an ECC PerspECCtives contract; and any other action that ECC Association deems reasonably necessary. The decisions and judgments made regarding potential violations of any ECC PerspECCtives policy shall be made in the sole discretion of ECC Association and are final and cannot be challenged. Compliance with Laws and Rules All ECC PerspECCtives participants must respect all applicable local, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations. Any content or activity featuring, encouraging, offering, or soliciting illegal activity is prohibited. Assumption of Risk Each ECC PerspECCtives participant assumes all risk and danger in connection with his/her/its participation in ECC PerspECCtives, whether occurring prior to, during, or after ECC PerspECCtives, and agrees to release and hold harmless ECC Association, its officers, directors, board of directors, and agents, in the event of any claims incurred in connection with ECC PerspECCtives. By participating in ECC PerspECCtives, each participant consents to release any and all rights such participant may otherwise have to his/her likeness, and to any photographs, video and audio recordings, or other images owned or created by ECC Association or its agents, any exhibitor or sponsor, and/or any member of the media. Each participant grants ECC Association, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and media the right, permission, and license to use his/her name, voice, image, and likeness, and releases and holds harmless ECC Association, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and media from liability resulting from such use. Attendees are responsible for complying with these and any additional restrictions specified at the beginning of the presentation or during the ECC PerspECCtives conference. General Registration First and last name, company, and title of all registered individuals may be shared by the ECC Association. Hotel Reservation Information Registrants give permission for the Hotel to provide ECC Association with their name and length and dates of stay. Registrants agree to defend and indemnify ECC Association and Hotel and their affiliates from and against any and all claims arising out of Hotel providing ECC Association with this information. Event Program and Presentations The ECC Association - reserves the right to make any changes to the program in its sole discretion. Every effort will be made to keep presentations, speakers, times, and locations as represented. However, unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of one or more presentation topic(s) or speaker(s) or time(s) or location(s). ECC Association makes no endorsements of any presentation or product. The views, opinions, displays and presentations by speakers and sponsors at the event do not necessarily reflect those of ECC Association. Due to limitations imposed especially by certain plenary speakers, ECC PerspECCtives attendees agree to refrain from the audio or video recording of or photography of any presenters or speakers, as specifically directed before the presentation. In the event that the Event has to be cancelled, delayed, interrupted or the schedule altered due to events beyond the reasonable control of ECC Association or the event organizers, ECC Association will not be held liable to Registrants for any damages, losses or costs incurred, including but not limited to registration fees, transportation and accommodation costs. ECC Association is not liable for changes in program date, content, speakers or venue. Guide to Antitrust Compliance Industry association meetings provide a lawful and important opportunity for competitors to meet and to discuss items of a legitimate concern to the industry. At the same time, association meetings can inadvertently foster informal discussions that could lead to conduct or agreements that violate the antitrust laws. ECC PerspECCtives attendees should adhere to the following general guidelines when participating in ECC Association activities: · No discussion or sharing of any company's confidential or proprietary information (e.g., purchasing plans for products or services, specific merger or divestment plans, market allocation, development plans, compliance costs, inventories/costs, etc.). Only publicly available information may be discussed or shared. · No discussion or agreements, either explicit or implicit, regarding prices of particular products or services of a company. · No forecasting of prices for goods or services. · No sharing of information that your company considers to be confidential or sensitive, even if that information does not fit in any of above categories. |
